I grew up watching Davey and Goliath back in the day. For all of you who may not be acquainted with the show, the stories revolved around a boy named Davey and his talking dog, Goliath (only the viewer and Davey could hear Goliath talk). The series featured cutting edge stop action photography, and was produced by the Lutheran Church of America.

And the modern answer to Davey and Goliath is Moral Orel. I don't know if it's still in production but it's pretty damned funny!
ReplyDeleteI can't see it getting much airtime in most markets for its views though.
DeleteI mean they even went after the Jews for Christ crowd ! lmao...
I liked the way they ended the Series too...
I bet a baby Ghandi tastes way better than stinky old man Ghandi. Right.

Love the "book of Joshua" one...great stuff Andy. I remember this show as well, but was born in 1975, so the reruns must have been on for a while.
ReplyDeleteGood stuff, Andy! Hey, maybe Davey is supposed to actually represent Davey Berkowitz - waddya think?
ReplyDeleteFar to weird for this poor Brit!
