Andy,Awesome video, thanks for sharing. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think that belief in a god or supreme being works the same as a placebo? If a person believes god will heal them, does their belief (not god) actually heal them sometimes? I would venture to say it does, but I'd like to hear your opinion.
I had a professor for a course in medical psychology and her mantra was Love your pill." From what I understand Christians don't have any edge on a nonbeliever, because they probably (all things being equal) believe in whatever treatment (God, pills, etc)the same. I don't think the effects are cumulative, for example, if you believe in God and your pills the placebo effect is bigger than just believing in pills alone.
