Catholic Cleanerupper-Man

I was reading Atheist  Revolution this morning about Patrick Wall, an ex-Catholic Priest who acted as a Catholic "fixer". Mr Wall would be sent to a church where an allegation of abuse had occurred and hushed it up. To quote from the article in Freethinker (click here for the story),

Victims were regarded as a liability – a huge financial liability – and a big problem.

Wait, there's more!

Asked whether he ever considered reporting abuse to the police or child protection services, Wall said “never”.

I reflected on this for most of the morning and on the way home from the gym Catholic Cleanerupper-Man was born!

These are the kind of heroes the Church has.

Because this is Purgatory.
