An Update On The Republican Master Plan

Folks who have followed this blog for a while know I have been writing about the Republican Master Plan and all of it's manifestations. It would seem that I am giving much grief to the party of Lincoln (Republicans loooove to remind us of that) but not today! No. Today I am writing about and celebrating the fruition of the Right's plan to provide free health care.

Remote Area Medical (RAM... sounds Satanic, everyone knows Satanists love rams) is offering free medical and dental care from April 27 - May 3 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena (here is the link to the Huffington Post). But who are these possible Satanists with their free care? I went on their website to suss out what's really going on. I checked the mission statement...
The Remote Area Medical® (RAM) Volunteer Corps is a non-profit, volunteer, airborne relief corps dedicated to serving mankind by providing free health care, dental care, eye care, veterinary services, and technical and educational assistance to people in remote areas of the United States and the world.

Founded in 1985, Remote Area Medical® is a publicly supported all-volunteer charitable organization. Volunteer doctors, nurses, pilots, veterinarians and support workers participate in expeditions (at their own expense) in some of the world's most exciting places. Medical supplies, medicines, facilities and vehicles are donated.
I looked at the other cities RAM will be going to: Chicago, Oklahoma City, and if all goes well RAM will be setting up a start-up program in Africa. Woo-hoo! We are now in the same class as Africa!

Good times are ahead. Republicans have devised a way for do-gooders to provide infrequent but free medical care to a handful of communities. Government doesn't have to do anything but provide an environment where the poor and middle class have no insurance.

Mission Accomplished!

What? You say the ObamaCare with demolish the schemes of the heroic Republicans and their fiscally prudent plan?

We'll see what happens with the midterm elections in November.

I'm not getting my hopes up because...

this is Purgatory.

  1. I think the "real" reason that the Republicans oppose the public option is that it would take business away from the funeral home industry.
